5. Required Readings/Audio
5.1 Biblical text of Synoptic Gospels– from the NEW REVISED STANDARD VERSION; recommended edition - Catholic Prayer Bible: Lectio Divina Edition (QC: Claretian, 2010). It is wise to start reading now; or at least listen to its audio (please go to the Arnoldus Library to borrow a NAB audio). It is also an advantage to know a little of Biblical Greek.
5.2 **BURTON H. THROCKMORTON, JR., Gospel Parallels: A Synopsis of the First Three Gospels, 4th ed. (Manila: Daughters of Saint Paul, 1979). There is a fifth edition (1992), but this one is also okay = GP.
